How women are represented in the media

This video is showing how women are represented in the media and how they 'failed' in the media in 2013. Within the video, you can see at 0:39 that the girl modelling is changed so much during the process of editing- she is a 'man-made' product as her weight is reduced rapidly, her skin colour is edited, she is wearing a wig, her facial features are placed differently. This shows that the media doesn't appreciate women for what they really are, rather women are objectified and seen as the subservient sex.
